For older readers Alison's work includes This Land We Call Home, Foghorn Passage, and River Rat. Originally from California, Alison has lived in Saskatchewan since 1976. When not writing, Alison indudges in her passion for music, playing the cornet, recorder, and cello.

She lives in Martensville, Saskatchewan and works as an educational assistant in a preschool for children with special needs.
